The purpose of this item is to provide the Town Council with background information to inform a discussion on advancing policies aimed at quantifiably reducing wildfire vulnerability in Vail. This information is a follow up to the presentation made during the August 18th, 2026, afternoon work session.
Donovan Pavilion Management Discussion (3:35pm)

The purpose of this discussion is to review the current uses of Donovan and Grand View facilities, with consideration of Town Council’s recently approved Strategic Plan.

The purpose of this presentation is to provide an update on the Zip Car program and receive council feedback on vehicle placement now that Timber Ridge is ready for the vehicles.

Executive Session (4:55pm)
(30 min.) Executive Session pursuant to:
1. C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(b) and (4)(e) to hold a conference with the Town Attorney to receive legal advice on specific legal questions, and to determine positions relative to matters that may be subject to negotiations, develop a strategy for negotiations and instruct negotiators on the topics of sponsorship rights for Dobson Arena; and
2. C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(b) to hold a conference with the Town Attorney, to receive legal advice on specific legal questions on the topics of Special Development District sketch plan procedure.
